Ziele und Inhalte
Objectives:
- Students know elements of visual and film language and their effects.
- Students will be able to use audiovisual elements in their own media productions.
- Students will be able to mediate the intentions, effects and typical characteristics of audiovisual language (photo and film / video) in the classroom.
- Students are familiar with multimedia forms of storytelling, can produce multimedia stories and implement them with learners at the target level.
Students will be able to evaluate media products.
Contents:
This seminar focuses on visual and film language, its characteristics, different uses and effects.
Students learn the basic elements of audiovisual language and produce exemplary media products adapted to their target level.
Students assess and discuss possible tasks and media products. In the case of photo productions in particular, the questions of AI use and its challenges are also addressed.
Lehr- und Lernformen
Process (Teaching and learning methods):
The course includes inputs, exercises, reflection sequences and workshops. We are working in groups on and with media products.

Requirements:
Personal computer for image processing and video editing. Smartphone for image and video recording.
