Ziele und Inhalte
Students spend 6 weeks in a country of English language and culture in order to deepen and extend their linguistic and communicative as well as their intercultural competence. They gain first-hand experience with customs and issues of the anglophone cultures which enables them to teach culture according to the aims specified in the Lehrplan 21.
Form des Leistungsnachweises
The stay abroad has to be completed and the according documentation handed in to the Kanzlei one week before semester 5 starts.
Under certain conditions and on request, students can be dismissed from doing a language stay. Moreover, a previous language stay might allow for a reduction of max. 2 weeks. A previous stay of 6 or more weeks in UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa is fully accepted as stay abroad.
