Ziele und Inhalte
C1 English language competence can be certified by an in-house C1 language examination as detailed in:

Art. 32 Hochschulinterne Sprachkompetenzprüfung Niveau C1 für Studierende des Studiengangs Primarstufe
The exam tasks are restricted to testing skills necessary for the teaching of English as a foreign language in primary school. In order to pass this in-house C1 language examination a C1 level of English competence is required.
The exam takes place twice a year, in the autumn and the spring semester. It is operated by PH Luzern, in cooperation with PHZG and PHSZ. For further information see https://evento-web.phlu.ch/index.php?id=1936
Form des Leistungsnachweises
The exam lasts 40 minutes. It consists of four parts:
- Taking part in a discussion about professional
experience
- Presenting and discussing a text about an educationally
relevant topic
- Producing spontaneous - and appropriately graded -
classroom language situatively
- Presenting a subject /or cultural content adapted to
learners' level of English
Modalitäten der Repetition
The exam can be taken as many times as needed.
Voraussetzungen für die Teilnahme
Candidates having done an attempt of an international C1 language exam (CAE/IELTS Band 7) which they have failed at least once with a score of 174 pts or higher (CAE) or 6.5pts (IELTS) can register for an in-house C1 language examination. Conditions for a sur dossier admission are described on the website.
